Lacey Casey
is our
Office
Manager. She
has returned
to the
Capital
Region from
Glendale,
Arizona. For
the past ten
years, Lacey
has worked
in the
customer
service and
office
administration.
Lacey is a
licensed
Aesthetician
as well as
an
experienced
office
worker.

Evans -
Business
Manager

Susan Evans
is our
Business
Manager.
In
addition to
serving as
Treasurer of
our Board of
Trustees
since 2004,
and worked
as our
reading
teacher for
two yeas.
She is a
Certified
Public
Accountant
with a B.S.
in
Accounting
from SUNY
Oswego, and
a Master's
Degree in
Elementary
Education
from the
College of
St. Rose.
Susan has
almost 20
years of
experience
in business
management
and
accounting.
Previously,
she worked
as an
accountant
at Marvin
and Co. for
seven years
and a
Controller
at Hopmeier,
Evans, Gage
for ten
years.

Gernert-Dott

Director of
Admissions

Community
Outreach

Kris
Gernert-Dott
is our
Director of
Admissions
and
Community
Outreach.
Kris joined
WHMS in 2002
as a parent
with her
daughter Haylie who
came to
Montessori
School of
Albany as a
first year
Lower
Elementary
student.
Kris joined
us a year
later as our
Admissions
Director.
Her prior
experience
includes
college
admissions
work since
1987 at
Union
College,
Skidmore
College, and
Hamilton
College.
Kris also
co-owned the
Montessori
Toddler's
and
Children's
House in
Schenectady
from
1999-2003.
Kris has a
B.S. in
Psychology from
Union
College and
also studied
for a year
at the
University
of Erlangen
in Germany.
Kris'
daughters, Tori and
Haylie, are
students at
WHMS.

Moira Rienzo -
Director of
Development
and
Communications

We are very
excited to
have Moira
Rienzo join
the WHMS as
the Director
of
Development
and
Communications.
Most
recently,
she's been
involved in
fund-raising
and event
planning on
a volunteer
basis for
the Friends
of Prospect
Park the
Junior
League of
Troy.
Previous to
having her
three
children,
she worked
for the
Finance
Department
at RPI, and
was the
Membership
Coordinator
at WAMC
Public
Radio. She
graduated
from
Syracuse
University
with degree
in Broadcast
Journalism.

Catherine
Sager -
Office
Coordinator

Catherine
Sager is our
Office
Coordinator.
In addition
to writing
for and
editing our
Messengers,
Catherine
advises our
student
newspaper.
She manages
a variety of
administrative
work
including
website
updates,
testing
coordination
and textbook
ordering.
Catherine
is an award
winning
reporter and
photographer
for The
Independent
newspaper,
as well as a
freelance
writer for
Hudson
Valley Life
and Hudson
Valley
Parent. Her
previous
experience
includes
office
management
for Robert
C. Parker
School, East
Greenbush
Central
Schools and
Music
Mobile, Inc.

Sue
LaVigne -
Office
Administrator

Sue LaVigne
has been our
office
manager
since 1987.
If you have
any question
about our
school, Sue
LaVigne will
likely have
the answer.
Sue usually
is the one
who answers
our phones.
She also
works with
our
school nurse
to monitor
medications
and help
children who
need some
TLC.

Hutton -
School
Counselor

Shannon
Hutton, our
School
Counselor,
has a
Masters in
School
Counseling
from the
College of
Saint Rose,
and is New
York State
certified as
a K-12
School
Counselor.
Prior to
coming to
WHMS, she
worked as an
elementary
School
Counselor
for the
Gloversville
Enlarged
School
District and
completed
her
internships
at
Voorheesville
Elementary
School and
Shaker
Junior High
School.
Shannon also
has a
Bachelors in
Journalism
and
Political
Science from
Syracuse
University
and a
Masters of
Public
Administration
from SUNY
Albany.
Prior to her
career
change, she
worked for
Governors
Cuomo and
Pataki as a
Senior
Budget
Examiner.
