  • Primary program for children ages 2.9 years through kindergarten

  • Montessori School Program 8:30 am -3:00 pm
  • Before and After School Care program 7:30-8:30 am and 3:00-6:00pm
  • Enrichment Days  (when school is not in session) 7:30 am 6:00 pm
  • Summer Camp 8:00 am – 5:30 pm

Facilities:  11-acre wooded campus including two playgrounds, an outdoor basketball court, athletic field, organic vegetable garden, and a peace garden.  Our 35,000 square foot, custom- designed school building includes 16 classrooms, a gymnasium, teaching kitchen, conference rooms and cultural/performance arts classrooms.

Afterschool Programs and Clubs:  Art, Chess, Chinese, Computer, Double Dutch, Gardening, Government, Movie Making, Running Ink- the WHMS Literary Magazine, Water Tower Tanzania Club, WHMS Times- a student Newspaper,  Yearbook 

Music:   African Drumming, Chamber Ensemble, Chorus, Guitar, Handbell Choir, Orff Stomp Group, Piano, School Band, Suzuki Violin

Sports:  Archery, Basketball, Cross Country Skiing, Cross Country Running, Ice skating, Skiing, Soccer, Yoga

Faculty and Staff:  40 full- and part-time faculty, staff and administration.  All Head Teachers are Montessori certified.  We have Specialists in Art, Music, Spanish, Physical Education, Reading, Math, Library, Drama, Suzuki Violin and School Counseling
