Michelle Edwards – Toddler Head Teacher
Michelle Edwards joined WHMS this fall as Head Toddler Teacher of our new program. Before coming to WHMS, Michelle was a well-respected Head Toddler Teacher at Our World Montessori. She has been working with toddlers for the past four years. Prior to her work at Our World, Michelle was a tenured elementary teacher in Texas and Niskayuna. She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Grove City College in Pennsylvania, and CMTE Toddler Certification.
Marion (Newton) Heller – Toddler Assistant Teacher
Marion works with Michelle Edwards as an assistant teacher. Marion has been an early childhood educator for over 25 years. Her prior experience includes working at a Montessori School in Germany, working with Nancy Hillengas in the Primary classroom, early childhood teaching and administration at Temple Israel Early Childhood Center, SUNY System Administration, Skidmore College Child Care Center and Pierce Hall Daycare. Marion has a bachelor’s in Early Childhood and a master’s in Infant and Toddler behavior and development, with additional advanced work in day care administration.
Divya Reddy – Toddler Assistant Teacher
Divya has served as a substitute teacher for WHMS for the past few years, and is known as being very kind, patient, and gentle. She is now taking on the role of assistant in the toddler room. She has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
