Meet Our Faculty and Staff

Cora Heiser received her adolescent Montessori certification through the Cincinnati Montessori Secondary Teacher Education Program and is Montessori certified in grades 7-12. Cora joined the WHMS faculty in 2006 as the Middle School Head Teacher. Cora completed her undergraduate course work at the State University of New York at Cortland, where she earned a bachelor's degree and New York State teacher certification in adolescent Social Studies education 7-12. She also holds a M.Ed. from the University at Albany. In addition to her work with adolescents, Cora supports adult learners on their journey toward becoming Secondary Montessori teachers as an Instructional Guide, Practicum Advisor and Field Consultant for the Center for Guided Montessori Studies Secondary Teacher Education Program.
